       On September 14th 2008 the eighth lecture of the new Marom project - Family Club (New forms of invitation, socialization and education of young Jewish families) took place. It become possible with the JDC grant. The program consists of eight outdoor lectures-discussions. The eighth one was moderated by Vladimir Paley with the theme "History of Jewish Surnames".

It become possible with the JDC grant. The program consists of eight outdoor lectures-discussions. The sixth one was moderated by Eugenia Mikhaleva with the theme "Send Thou Bread by the Waters... Kohelet, 11-1".

It become possible with the JDC grant. The program consists of eight outdoor lectures-discussions. The fifth one was moderated by Alexandr Sinelnikov with the theme "Problems of Mixed Families".

       On August 3rd 2008 the forth lecture of the new Marom project - Family Club (New forms of invitation, socialization and education of young Jewish families) took place. It become possible with the JDC grant. The program consists of eight outdoor lectures-discussions. The forth one was moderated by Svetlana Jakimenko ("Project Kesher") with the theme "Women in Torah. A Right for the Choice".

It become possible with the JDC grant. The program consists of eight outdoor lectures-discussions. The third one was moderated by Alexandr Sinelnikov with the theme "Jewish family in past and present".

       On June 29th 2008 the second lecture of the new Marom project - Family Club (New forms of invitation, socialization and education of young Jewish families) took place. It become possible with the JDC grant. The program consists of eight outdoor lectures-discussions. The second one was moderated by Alexandr Stepanjuk with the theme "How to communicate with a child".

       On May 31st June 2nd 2008 the leader of Marom community Maria Kopelyan participater in OSCE ODIHR training for civil society on preventing and responding to hate crime, that took place in Warsaw, Poland.

       On May 25th ìàÿ 2008 the Marom community celebrated Lag ba-Omer in Dedovsk, Moscow region.

       On April 20th 2008 the Marom community celebrated Pesah in Israeli Culture Center. The Seder was led by Vadim Avshalumov. Hag Pesah sameah!

       On April 15th 2008 the new Marom community project - English-speaking Club took place.

       On April 4-6 2008 the art group of the Marom community performed at the Purimshpiel festival at Vitebsk. We are grateful to the organizers of the festival, to the Jewish Agency in Russia, the Jewish Agency for Israel in Belarus, to KEROOR.

       On December 16th 2007 the Moscow Jewish community "Severnaja" celebrated the Day of Jewish Culture. As an impact from Marom community the youth band of ancient music "La Campanella" played.

       On December 10th-11th 2007 members of Marom community participated in Chanukah celebrations in St.Petersbourg.

       On November 28th - December 1st 2007 the conference "Youth supporting the ideas of tolerance", organized by Center for Interethnic Cooperation and the Ministry of National Politics and Connections with the religious organizations of Republic of Karelija took place in Petrozavodsk, Karelija. Moscow Jewish organizations were represented by Maria Kopelyan.

       On August 31st - September 2nd 2007 the Marom Olami coordinator's meeting took place in Berlin. Moscow Marom was represented by Maria Kopelyan.

       On May 27th 2007 the "Marom" community celebrated Shavuot. The history and traditional aspect of the holiday was told by the specially invited professor.

       On May 17th 2007 the "Marom" community started the new project - Hebrew Ulpan. The lessons will take place every Tuesday and Thursday.

       On May 13th the "Marom" community celebrated Lag ba-Omer in Malahovka. We are grateful to KEROOR for financial support and to JOINT for the bus.

       On April 25th-29th 2007 the "All Different - All Equal" campaigne symposium was held in Luxembourg. Russian Jewish orgnizations were represented by Maria Kopelyan.

       On April 8th 2007 the "Marom" community celebrated Seder Pesah in "Yad Ezra" hesed. The Seder was led after our Israeli guests Olya Weinstain and Yoni Haikin.

       On April 1st 2007 the youth of "Marom" community together with "Yad Ezra" hesed youth hold a humour party.

       On March 28th - April 1st 2007 the "All Different - All Equal" campaigne symposium was held in Istanbul. Russian Jewish orgnizations were represented by Maria Kopelyan.

       On March 27th the results of the Purimshpiel contest on booknik.ru web-site were announced.
The winner by the peoples' voting is a "Marom" community Purimshpiel! We are very grateful to all who gave their voices for us.

       On March 21st-25th 2007 the Netherlands' organization "UNITED", the patnter of the Center for Interethnic Cooperation, made a special educational and experience exchange trip for 20 representatives of Russian ethnic youth organizations. Moscow Marom was represented by Maria Kopelyan.

       On March 16th-18th 2007 the meeting of Europe Marom coordinators was held in London. Russian Marom was represented by Maria Kopelyan.

       On March 4th 2007 the art-group of "Marom" community played Purimshpiel in "Yad Ezra" hesed.

       On February 17th-19th the Center for Interethnic Cooperation tolerance training took place in Izjevsk, Udmurtia.

       On February 8th 2007 a first event of "Marom Cinema Club in Yad Ezra hesed" project took place. A movie "Les Adventures de Rabbi Jacob" was shown with the afterward discussion with a cup of tea.

       On February 4th 2007 the "Marom" community celebrated Tu bi-Shvat. Our thanks to "KEROOR", Israeli Culture Center and especially its director Lena Plitman-Aber, "Freilekhs" group and "Yahad" choir.

       On January 25th 2007 a regular event of "Cinema Club" project took place in "Under Roof" cafe. A movie "The Pianist" by Roman Polanski was shown.

       On December 28th 2006 a regular event of "Cinema Club" project took place. A movie "Les Adventures de Rabbi Jacob" was shown.

       On December 26th 2006 the New Financial Year party took place in "Under Roof" cafe. The "Marom" community celebrated together with "Yahad" choir and "Art-Training" studio.

       On December 24th 2006 in "NEO" club the "Friendship Party" took place. It wes organized by Center for Interethnic Cooperation and The Union of Armenians in Russia. Members of "Marom" community took part in this event.

       On December 22d-23d 2006 the Center for Interethnic Cooperation training "Tolerance as a part of human society" took place in Chapaevsk Samara region.

       On December 16th 2006 the "Marom" community celebrated Chanukah. We are very grateful to KEROOR for financial support.

       On December 12 2006 a regular event of "Cinema Club" project took place. A movie "Dieu Est Grand, Je Suis Toute Petite " was shown.

       On November 26th 2006 a regular event of "Cinema Club" project took place. A musical movie "Help!" by Richard Lester was shown.

       On November 9th 2006 the All-European Day of Opposition to Racism press conference was hold by the Center for Interethnic Cooperation in the Independent Press Center.

       On October 29th 2006 the second event of "Cinema Club" project took place. A musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber was shown.

       From October 25th till 27th 2006 the combined training was held in Yaroslavl' by Center for Interethnic Cooperation and United Against Racism Fascism Nationationalism Network "The development of the network of national organizations".

       On October 24th 2006 the first event of the new combined project "Cinema Club" of "Marom" community and "Under Roof" cafe took place. To celebrate Simhat Torah the French musical "Les Dix Commandements" was shown.

       On October 12th 2006 the "Marom" community celebrated Sukkot. We are very grateful to "KEROOR" and "MERO".

       On August 21-22 2006 a Center for Interethnic Cooperation conference was held in Anapa.

       From 20th to 31st of July an Interethnic Youth Camp was held in Novosibirsk.

       From June 19th to 22nd 2006 The 35th World Zionist Congress was held in Jerusalem.

       On June 2nd 2006 the "Marom" community celebrated Shavuot. We are very grateful to "Yad Ezra" hesed.

       From May 11th to 14th 2006 the "Marom" Russia and Ukraine seminar took place in Kiev.

       On April 16th 2006 the "Marom" community celebrated Pesah in Israelian Culture Center. We are very grateful to Israelian Culture Center, MERO and KEROOR.

       On April 2nd 2006 the "Marom" team took part in the "Brain Ring" game in Israel Culture Center for the first time. We got the second place!

       On March 19th the "Marom" organization took part in the European Against Racism week together with Center for Interethnic Cooperation, The Union of Armenians in Russia, the German youth fund "Jugendbrucke". An interethnic disco-party was held in a popular club "NEO". Our organization was represented by dj Kisel - resident of "Rabinovich" project and a young singer Lev Elgardt. We want to thank them very much!

       On March 18th and 19th the "Marom" community celebrated Purim.

       On March 19th Purimshpiel was played at the "Severnaja" community. We are wery grateful to Anna Smirnitskaja from the Der Partizaner Kish klezmer group for taking part in our performance!

       On March 18th an oportunity to see our Purimshpiel and to celebrate Purim together was given to all our friends and relatives at the "Under Roof" cafe.

       On February 12th 2006 the "Marom" community celebrated Tu bi-Shvat. Our thanks to "Yad Ezra" fund.

       On the 27th of December 2005 the Moscow "Marom" community celebrated Chanukah on the skating rink. We are very grateful to "KEROOR" for their financial support.

       From 18th to 20th of November 2005 the Moscow "Marom" community participated in the "Jewish Agency in Russia" seminar "Perspective". Members of the community Lev Romanov and Maria Kopelian ran sport studies, talking about the martial arts of Israel and showing self-defence and close fight essential principles.

       On October 25th 2005 members of "Marom" sports project (self-defence, close fight and acting in extreme cases) kept order together with militia and the security service at the Simhat Tora service at the Choral Synagogue.

       At the end of October 2005 the "Marom" organization celebrated Sukkot.

       On October 20th 2005 the "Marom" organization took part in the presentation of the Jewish Agency for Russia youth projects in the "Black & White" club.

      From 7th till 9th of october 2005 the "Marom" organization together with Center for Interethnic Cooperation was holdind a seminar "Militia, Authorities and Civil Society".

       During October 2005 "Marom" organization was celebrating Rosh ha-Shana.
       On October 3d members of "Marom" sports project (self-defence, close fight and acting in extreme cases) kept order together with militia and the security service at the Rosh ha-Shana service at the Choral Synagogue.
       On October 5th "Marom" community was holding their own Rosh ha-Shana. Special guest from "Marom Olami" (Jerusalem) Mark Shtern took a very active part in organization of the holiday. We are very grateful to "KEROOR" and "Yachad" choir. SHANA TOVA U METUKA!

       On September 14th 2005 "Marom" organization was holding a meeting with members of the German organization "Young Nature Friends" in the office of the Center for Interethnic Cooperation. The point of the meeting was anti-Semitism, racism, xenophobia. In the process of the conversation the question of anti-Semitism in Russia and Soviet Union was touched upon, and problems of todays Russia and the whole Europe were discussed. Rabbi Bob Kaplan from New York, who was invited to the meeting, recounted how successfully they deal with such problems in the USA. The meeting was finished by the friendly chat at the "OGI" club at the concert of Psoy Korolenko.

       On September 8th-9th 2005 a conference "Russian and International Experience in the Interaction of Ethnic Associations, Law-Enforcement Organs and the Authorities" was carried out in Anapa. Leaders of ethnic organizations, representatives of the authorities and members of the militia from 20 regions of Russia and also guests from Great Britain, USA, Germany, France and Hungary took part in this conference. Moscow "Marom" was represented by its leader, Maria Kopelian.

       From 17 to 19 of June 2005 the "Marom" organization in common with the Center for Interethnic Cooperation led a seminar "Cooperation between Authority, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Youth Funds of Moscow". The participants were members of "Marom" organization, The Union of Armenians in Russia, the German youth fund "Jugendbrucke", Center of Tatar youth, Ministry of Internal Affairs.

       On May 29, 2005 the "Marom" organization celebrated the Jewish festival Lag ba-Omer.

       From 19 to 22 of May The European meeting of "Marom Olami" took place in Berlin, Germany. Russia was represented by the members of Moscow "Marom".

       At the end of april, 2005 the meeting of the Moscow Interethnic Youth Club took place in the office of The Union of Armenians in Russia. It was dedicated to the 60 years anniversary of the Great Victory over the fascist Germany. The theme of the discussion was: "The Background of fascism". Leader of the "Marom" organization Alexey Kolganov appeared as an expert-historian.

       In April the "Marom" organization celebrated the great Jewish festival Pesah.
       On the 23d of April members of "Marom" project of Self-identity via sport (self-defence, close fight and acting in extreme cases) kept order together with militia and the security service at the Pesah service at the Choral Synagogue.
       On the 24th of April the "Marom" organization led a Pesah seder in the Israeli Culture Center.

       On April 5th, 2005 the "Marom" organization received participants ot the Interethnic Youth Club at the Moscow Hillel headquarters. Representatives of the youth national organizations of Georgia, Armenia, Chechnia, Germany, USA took part in this meeting. Projects of joint activities, actions and arrangements were discussed.

       On the 27th of March, 2005 leader of the "Marom" organization Alexey Kolganov congratulated the participants of the volunteer movement on the Purim festival at the Memorial synagogue.

       On March 24th, 2005 members of "Marom" project of Self-identity via sport (self-defence and close fight) took responsibilities of the volunteer people's squad at the Purim service at the Choral Synagogue. Direction of the synagogue Security service expressed gratitude to the members of organization.

       During the European-wide Action Week Against Racism (March 14-21, 2005), the Center for Interethnic Cooperation arranged two youth activities.
       On the 19th of March, the Center for Interethnic Cooperation arranged the round-table meeting “Fight Against Racism: What Can Youth Organisations Do?” Representatives of several national youth organisations from Moscow and Saint Petersburg (the German Youth Union, the Union of Armenians of Russia, the Jewish Organisation “MAROM”, the Association of Georgians of Russia), as well as students from Moscow universities participated in the round table. Ashot Airapetian, the director of the Center for Interethnic Cooperation, conducted the round table. The round table took place in the German-Russian House in Moscow.

       On the 17th of March the press-conference, “We Have Won the War, But We Have Not Defeated Racism” took place at the Independent Press Center. Representatives of the Center for Interethnic Cooperation, as well as leaders from several ethnic youth organisations participated in the press-conference. Among the participants present were Natalya Khrechkova from the German Youth Union, Alexei Kolganov from the Jewish organisation “MAROM”, and representatives of Armenian and Georgian organizations of Moscow.



       On January 15th, 2005 the Moscow "Marom" organization received the Coordinator of the educatoinal programs of "Marom Olami" Olga Weinstein.

       On December 8-9, 2004 the Hanuka festival with the representative of the International Maccabi Union Daniel Gurvitz took place.

       On December 2004 the training seminar "Interaction between National Associations, Administration and Law Machinery" took place.



On November 26th, 2004 the regular meeting of the Interethnic Youth Club took place.

       During the Autumn festivals of 2004 the "Marom" organization with the help of "KEROOR" celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles.
